Naming a Marvel NFT comic the night it lands
Write the series and issue into the filename before the next listing overwrites your memory.
The worst hour for a Marvel NFT comic library is the hour after a Veve drop. The file arrives with a marketplace string, the collector is tired, and by morning three covers share nearly the same name.
At the Bangkok desk we ask collectors to pause before closing the laptop. The first line of the filename should be the series as printed, then the issue number, then a short cover tag such as “trade” or “virgin.” Leave the drop date as a trailing note if you must, never as the only clue.
Do not encode a hoped-for resale in the name. A library filename is a finding aid. If you need the live listing later, open Veve yourself; this site will not download a comic or an installer for you.
When the folder is named, copy the same words onto a paper card. Dual records catch the moment a file is later renamed by accident. That is cataloguing, not speculation.
