Variant cover logging

Treat every cover treatment as its own object on the shelf map, including variants that arrived from Veve drops.

Marvel NFT drops frequently ship more than one cover for the same issue number. A collector who only stores the latest file will later confuse a trade-dress reading copy with a virgin or homage variant. Variant cover logging gives each treatment its own card.

We note the cover type in plain language, the artist credited on the listing, and whether the collector intends that file as the reread copy or as a stored variant. Ratio language from a marketplace is copied as a quotation from the listing, never rewritten as a promise of scarcity on this site.

This practice is independent of Marvel Characters, Inc. and of Veve. Cover names are used so you can tell files apart, not to decorate an official gallery.

If you need the live listing rather than the library card, use Get it from Veve as ordinary navigation. For desk hours and the Bangkok address, see contact.
